It should not come as a shock that multiple rumors stirred, concerning the details of their decision to call off their wedding and end their five-year relationship. The most popular theory circulating in the media world was that he broke up with her in an email the night before the wedding and neglected to inform guests of the cancellation.
Kesha sat down with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America to expose the truth behind their break up. She stated that they were having problems during the month before their set date and had several conversations about calling it quits. She went on to explain that the email he sent to her did not come as a shock and they discussed it later that night. Despite the fact that the situation was not as intense as it was portrayed in the gossip magazines, it was still heartbreaking. In Kesha’s words, it was “every girls worst nightmare.” Hopefully by now she has woken up from her nightmare and moved on to a new reality.
