Adorn

Adorn

We adore Miguel. We have embraced his music, his style, his talent and his silent promise of longevity. It’s amazing to see how an artist with only two albums, can have such an effect on the R&B world. His last release, “Kaleidoscope Dream” still has the industry buzzing and claiming that Miguel resurrected R&B. With his distinctive sound and appeal, Miguel has often been compared to Prince, which is a compliment in itself. He has won four awards, including a Grammy for best R&B Song for “Adorn” and has been nominated for four more awards this year. No matter if he wins or loses, he is a winner in our book. It is also rumored that he has worked with Beyonce on her new album. Now, that speaks volumes! The sky is the limit for Miguel and we are right behind him waiting to see his next move. Whatever it is, I am sure we will not be disappointed.

Vixen

Vixen

As Miguel gives us talent and utter sexiness, its only right to assume that his mate should indeed be a vixen. Wilhelmina model, Nazanin Mandi and Miguel have been together now for over 7 years. In being a certified sex symbol, Miguel has no problem letting the world know who his woman is. They have been spotted together on plenty of red carpets, events, each other’s instagram and @ing each other on twitter. Like her boyfriend, Nazanin is a singer and dancer. She can sing in 5 different languages and she even made it to the top 35 on American Idol. These two are a talented match made in heaven.

The Thrill

The Thrill

The night of the 2013 Billboard Awards goes down in history as one of the most talked about events this year (so far), thanks to Miguel. As he performed “Adorn”, Miguel decided to leap across the fan pit to the other side of the stage, landing on a female fan in the process. Miguel, causing her to slam her head on the stage itself, struck Khyati Shah. After the performance, Khyati was taken backstage where she received an ice pack and was also given a chance to meet and mingle with Miguel. Needless to say Twitter and Instagram went into overdrive with comments, jokes, and instant replay videos of the performance. Khyati stated that she was all right, but as time passed she realized that she was having cognitive problems. It turns out that her injury was more serious then she thought and went under serious tests and examinations. The thrill that Miguel felt jumping across the stage may have caused him a lawsuit.Â

How Many Drinks

How Many Drinks

Oh, the irony, as Miguel’s “How Many Drinks” rocked the air waves, he was charged with a DUI. Miguel caught the attention of L.A. police as he sped past in his tinted BMW X6. The police pulled him over around 2:00 am, asking him to perform a few sobriety test (which are close to impossible even if you are sober), all of which he failed. His breathalyzer result were 0.10-0.11, landing him in handcuffs with a bail of $5,000. Miguel was released a couple of hours later.
