A new photo has surfaced that shows Carey picking cotton in a field, minus her normal make-up, stiletto heels and so forth. In the film, Carey plays a field slave name Hattie Pearl.

The Butler, based on a true story of former White House butler Eugene Allen, the historical drama centers on Cecil Gaines (played by Forest Whitaker) who serves eight American presidents over three decades. The film traces the dramatic changes felt by American society at that time, from the civil rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affect the man's life and family.

The film also features Robin Williams as Dwight Eisenhower, John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan, James Marsden as John F. Kennedy, Liev Schreiber as Lyndon B., Oprah Winfrey, Terrence Howard and Cube Gooding Jr.

The Butler and will debut on August 16th. Check out the trailer below:

Mariah Carey has always been known for her glamorous style, but recently she’s taken a turn towards something more natural. The singer and actress took to the red carpet for this summer’s release of “The Butler” looking absolutely stunning without any makeup or elaborate hairdos. It was definitely a refreshing change from what we’re used to seeing! Let’s take a closer look at Mariah’s new glamless style and how it helped her make an impact on the big screen.

It’s not often that you see someone as famous as Mariah Carey embracing the no-makeup look. But earlier this week, she stepped out onto the red carpet of “The Butler” in all her barefaced glory – and wow did she rock it! Her simple yet sophisticated outfit paired with minimal hair styling made for an effortless elegance that is sure to be remembered by many fans and fashionistas alike.

We can’t wait to get our hands on pictures of Mariah’s latest look! Not only did she go glamless for one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, but she also managed to pull off the perfect combination of comfort and sophistication while doing so. From now on, there will be no doubt that Mariah isn’t afraid to try something new when it comes to her personal style.

Overview Of The Movie

The upcoming movie The Butler is an American historical drama that follows the story of Cecil Gaines, a butler who served eight presidential administrations in the White House. Starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey, this movie takes us through history as it focuses on civil rights movements while also showing how family life can be impacted by political events.

In addition to its star-studded cast, Mariah Carey will make a special appearance for The Butler. She plays Hattie Pearl, a woman with whom Cecil has a brief romance before her untimely death from cancer. In contrast to what we usually see from Carey – glamorous looks and elaborate outfits – she went glamless for this role: no makeup or fancy clothes. This helps viewers connect more emotionally with her character’s plight and gives them insight into his personal struggle with loss.

The Butler promises to provide audiences with both entertainment value and thought-provoking questions about race relations in America today. It’s sure to leave many people reflecting on their own lives after watching it.

Mariah Carey’s Role And Appearance

Mariah Carey takes on a whole new look in her role for The Butler. Instead of the glitz and glamour we usually associate with her, she goes bare-faced and wears simple garments to portray Hattie Pearl. This allows audiences to connect more deeply with her character’s struggles and emotions.

The actress had an emotional journey while filming this movie, as she was playing a woman facing death due to cancer. She told reporters that it was “an incredibly moving experience” and that she found herself crying during some scenes because they were so powerful. Her raw portrayal effectively conveys Hattie Pearl’s story of hardship – one which many people can relate to today despite it being a period drama set decades ago.

By stepping away from her usual roles, Mariah Carey proves once again how versatile an artist she is; not only does she have incredible vocal talent but also has the ability to bring characters alive through acting. Her performance in The Butler will no doubt be talked about for years to come.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Mariah Carey’s appearance in The Butler was a great addition to the film. She looked stunning and glamorous as Gloria Gaines and it was refreshing to see her go glamless for this role. Not only did she give an amazing performance as Mrs. Gaines, but her look was also memorable. It showed that despite being one of the most iconic pop stars of all time, Mariah is still able to adapt to different roles and styles with ease.

Overall, The Butler provided audiences with an incredible glimpse into American history through the lens of family life in the White House. With Mariah Carey playing a pivotal role at its center, the movie will remain a classic for years to come. And while we’re used to seeing Mariah looking all glammed up on stage or in music videos, it’s nice to know that she can pull off any look when necessary!
