‘R&B Divas LA’ to Premiere on VOD Service Prior to Television

TV One is going from the east coast divas, to the west coast divas.

As the second season of “R&B Divas Atlanta” comes to a close with its last episode airing on June 19, TV One amps up to debut its sister spin-off show “R&B Divas LA” on July 10, where fans can catch up on the lives of Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Dawn Robinson, Lil' Mo, Claudette Ortiz and Michel'le.

While July 10 at 10PM est on TV One is the television debut, viewers with a “Video on Demand (VOD)” service through their cable provider can get a head start on everyone else, because for the first time ever, TV One will debut “R&B Divas LA” on VOD on Sunday July 7, 2013, three full days before the regular TV line up.

Maureen Guthman, SVP of Program Strategy and Acquisitions, said in a press release, “The R&B Divas franchise has sustained heated buzz and anticipation among our viewers and we are delighted to offer them the LA series premiere early, via the VOD service.”

Leading up to the “R&B Divas LA” premiere will be a slew of everything divas with reunion specials and marathons. Check out the schedule below:


R&B Divas Atlanta: The Reunion Part One (one hour special) – Atlanta divas Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt, LaTocha Scott and Angie Stone reflect on Season Two.

R&B Divas Atlanta: The Reunion Part Two (one hour special) – The Atlanta reunion concludes.
