Rihanna is struggling with some form of illness and was unable to perform at a planned concert Monday night.

According to Live Nation, the "Pour It Up" singer was forced to cancel a show in Houston "as a result of illness," but plans to return to the stage in Dallas Tuesday.

The canceled date in Houston is her third cancellation in just over a month. As widely reported, Rihanna cited illness when canceling shows in Baltimore and Boston.

Fans that purchased tickets for the Houston date are being asked to retain the tickets for use at a later date, which will be announced at a later time.

Rihanna is touring in support of her seventh studio album, "Unapologetic."

Rihanna’s fans are in for a disappointment as she has just cancelled yet another ‘Diamonds World Tour’ concert. The singer cited illness as the reason for her absence, and it is yet unclear when she will be able to make up for this missed performance. This news comes after Rihanna had already delayed five shows due to laryngitis earlier this year.

The ‘Diamonds World Tour’, which began in March 2013, was expected to take place across seven continents and 46 countries over a span of two years. It promised an exciting show crafted around Rihanna’s seventh studio album ‘Unapologetic’. Fans have been eagerly awaiting each show but it seems that they may have to wait a little longer than they had anticipated before getting their chance to see the star live onstage again.

The latest cancellation further adds speculation about what could be causing such difficulties with her performances, leaving many wondering whether Rihanna will ever be able to complete her tour or not. Read on for more details regarding her recent cancellations and what might come next from the artist!

Background Of The Tour

The Diamonds World Tour was a highly anticipated concert series by international pop star Rihanna. The tour kicked off in March of 2013 and included over 80 shows spanning 15 countries. Fans from around the world had been looking forward to this rare opportunity to experience an intimate live performance with the singer.

Unfortunately, nearly halfway through her tour, Rihanna has been forced to cancel yet another show due to illness. This marks the fourth cancellation since the start of the tour, leading some fans to speculate whether or not she’ll be able to complete her remaining dates.

At this time it is unclear when or if Rihanna will make up for any cancelled concerts. For now all that can be done is hope that she makes a speedy recovery so that she can continue on with the rest of her tour schedule without further interruption.

Reasons For Cancellation

Rihanna’s latest cancellation has left many of her fans disappointed and concerned. While the singer cited illness as the reason, there have been some rumors indicating that she may be dealing with a more serious issue. However, at this time it is unclear what exactly is causing Rihanna to miss shows on her tour.

Regardless of the true cause, it is important for any performer to prioritize their health and wellbeing over anything else. This includes taking whatever steps necessary in order to ensure they are able to get back on stage without putting themselves or their audience in danger. With that said, if Rihanna needs additional rest or medical attention in order to make sure she can complete the Diamonds World Tour then that should always take precedence over performing live.

At this point all we can do is hope that Rihanna makes a full recovery soon so she can get back out there and dazzle audiences again with her amazing talent.

Conclusion

My conclusion to this article is that Rihanna’s illness has caused her to cancel another of the concerts on her “Diamonds World Tour.” Despite having a few health issues, she had still managed to continue performing throughout the tour. Unfortunately, it appears that her illness finally caught up with her and forced her to take a break from the stage.

It’s clear that Rihanna was determined not to let anything stop her from putting on incredible shows for her fans around the world. However, even an artist as resilient as herself can’t necessarily push through when their body says no. I’m sure all of us understand why she chose the course of action she did; we only want what’s best for our favorite singers and celebrities!

In any case, here’s hoping Rihanna gets better soon so she can get back out there and rock those stages again like nobody else can! Her passion for music and performance knows no bounds, so we know whatever comes next will be bigger and better than ever before.
