Justin Timberlake, Five Timers Club Lifts ‘SNL’ Ratings

Justin Timberlake helped to propel ratings upward on "Saturday Night Live (SNL)" over the weekend.

Appearing as a host and performer, Justin Timberlake helped the latest episode to draw in just over 2.4 million viewers with a strong 5.9 rating.

"Saturday Night Live," with host and musical guest Justin Timberlake, averaged a 5.9/15 in metered-market households, the show's top overnights in 14 months, since January 7, 2012 (with host Charles Barkley and musical guest Kelly Clarkson on the night of a primetime NFL playoff game). "SNL" scored the #1 rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in metered-market households, topping all primetime telecasts on those networks," reports NBC.

As seen on SNL, Justin Timberlake joined other comedians and entertainers that have hosted SNL five times, including Chevy Chase, for a hilarious opening titled "The Five Timers Club."
