Saturday night was a big night for two networks, namely OWN and HBO, who aired never before seen programming featuring Beyonce.
According to both networks, Beyonce speaking on major events in her life, including a complicated relationship with her father, a miscarriage and more, pulled in strong viewership and in one case, record ratings.
"Oprah's Next Chapter," which aired at 8 p.m. on OWN Saturday, drew just over 1.3 million viewers, including 1.26 million between the ages of 25-54.
Airing the anticipated documentary "Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream," HBO saw record viewership Saturday. Over 1.8 million tuned in to the network for the premiere, giving HBO its largest audience for an original doc since 2004.
As previously reported, Beyonce spoke at length about her life, the music industry, being a wife and now, being a mother. She also revealed, for the first time, her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
Beyonce is slated to release a new album later this year.
