There’s tons of new talent out there but it couldn’t hurt to add a rap veteran to the crew â think Common for GOOD Music or Juicy J for Taylor Gang. A sign like this can sometimes result in not only a revival for their own careers but add a new dynamic of supporters â both old and new â for the label. Say what you want about Mase but he’s managed to remain relevant enough to feature on songs for artists like newcomer French Montana and Kanye West. Features that held their own against current rap favorites like Pusha T and Rick Ross. If Drake were interested he’s in luck too because out of all the possible label deals Mase told MTV’s Sway he would only consider signing to either Kanye’s GOOD Music or Drake’s OVO. About Drake Mase told Sway, “I think he’s the closest to what I believe I woulda been if I didn’t leave music.”
