Adele had a major night at the Golden Globe Awards Sunday. With an original plan to make it a “moms’ night out,” Adele was completely surprised when her name was called for winning Best Original Song.
The award stems from “Skyfall,” the original song she recorded for the motion picture of the same name.
“I was not expecting this,” Adele said after taking the stage to accept the coveted award. “Thank you for letting me be a part of your world.”
As widely reported, Adele gave birth to her first child last year. She is also nominated for an Academy Award thanks to “Skyfall.”
