Kendrick Lamar Finds Gold With ‘good kid, m.A.A.d’

Kendrick Lamar’s years of hard work continues to land him new milestones. The Compton rapper’s critically acclaimed debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d, has been certified gold.

Released on October 22nd, the set moved 242,000 copies in its first week, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album charts. A few months later The Aftermath/Interscope release received gold certification from the RIAA after selling 500,000 copies.
