The prestigious GQ magazine has summoned rapper Lil Wayne for their annual Super Bowl party, set for February 2, 2013, in New Orleans.
“As a lifelong sports fan and a proud New Orleans native, I am thrilled to partner with GQ, a publication that has long supported me, for this year’s party,” Wayne said in a statement.
He adds: “I ain’t got no worries that this will be the best Super Bowl party ever.”
Sponsored by Lacoste and Mercedes-Benz, the invite-only event will be held at Elm’s Mansion on St. Charles Avenue in the city’s Garden District.
More event details will be released in January 2013.
