Big Boi Talks “Cohesive Body of Work” on New Album

Big Boi recently sat down with Pitchfork to discuss the creative process for his upcoming album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors (December 11th). In the video he explains that the collection of songs all have their own feel and character, but at the same time create “one cohesive body of work”.

“I’m having fun, making music is what I was born to do, it’s a gift that was given to me by God, and it’s what makes me tick,” says the Outkast member in the clip regarding his love for music.

He adds: “If you listen to my records, no two songs sounds alike and I like to keep it that way…But they all embody the same spirit of the sound, where there’s one cohesive body of work.”

Features on the album include A$AP Rocky, T.I., Ludacris, Little Dragon, and more.
