Beyonce Teams With HBO For Intimate, Personal Documentary Film

International superstar Beyonce has been teamed with HBO for an intimate feature-length documentary film, slated to debut February 16, 2013. Directed by the multi-Grammy winner, the film is a collage of private videos, which will give the world a better look into the hitmaker’s life.

“HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity,” said Beyoncé. “Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.”

“Everybody knows Beyoncé’s music, but few know Beyoncé the person,” adds Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. “Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.”

Executive produced by Beyonce, the film will cover Beyonce’s entire life timeline, including her childhood in Houston, family, career challenges, the physical and emotional demands she goes through in the studio, the business woman, being a wife and mother, and much more.

Sounds like a must watch!
