Season two American Idol finalist Kimberley Locke is still Locke-ing it down with performances across the country. Locke has many upcoming appearances in Denver, Los Angeles, and New York City, but the powerhouse was in Miami on Friday October 5 at the Score nightclub to perform her newest single “Finally Free,” along with her other tunes “Change” and “8th World Wonder.”
After her set, the singer sat down with celeb interviewer and friend of Singersroom Chris Yandek over at CYInterview.com, where she revealed her plans to run in the New York City Marathon on November 4, 2012. Sprinting for the Malaria No More team (an organization in place to prevent deaths from malaria, a preventable and treatable disease), Locke the ambitious singer’s main goal is to finish the race for the cause, a huge accomplishment for anyone achieves it.
