After their spat, which went viral a few days ago, it seems things are now calm and collected in Mariah and Nicki land. The two were on speaking terms yesterday (October 3) during American Idol auditions and reportedly are back to doing their job, discovering fresh, new talents.
Following the aforementioned incident, sources allegedly close to Nicki Minaj’s camp, pegged Mariah as the instigator, claiming the R&B/Pop veteran kept calling Young Money rapper the B word.
Now, another alleged source is speaking out on Mariah’s behalf, claiming the feud was Nicki’s fault. The insider, said to be close to the American Idol team, warns that Minaj could get ousted if she continues her behavior.
“If you want to know who is a major diva it is Nicki Minaj,” the source told HollywoodLife.com. “She is a major handful and a complete pain.”
The source adds: “Everyone is a fan of Mariah and completely on her side, and if Nicki Minaj continues to make things be such an issue, they would be happy for her to be fired.”
The insider also blames the incident on both artist’s ego, but says Minaj needs an attitude check. “It’s based solely on the fact they both have amazingly huge egos, but Nicki Minaj takes the cake of having a major attitude problem,” the source said.
