Up and coming vocalist Baiyu brought tastemakers to Custo Barcelona in SOHO, New York City to preview her new album ‘Hunter.’ Baiyu, a former VJ of mtvU, celebrated the release of her third project with an inmate acoustic performance for the invite only crowd including Power 105.1 FM’s Cherry Martinez, actress/model Krista Ayne, ThisIs50’s Jack Thriller, Lifestyle specialist Gabriel Williams and Raw Holiday.
The event, hosted by Cherry Martinez, offered attendees free libations from Tyku and gift bags with Naturally Me Cosmetics product. Though individuals enjoyed the goodies, the main focus was Baiyu’s twelve track album featuring collaboration with Bad Boy’s Los, Rotimi of the series “Boss,” and former Motown artist Hal Linton. Her steamy duet “Invisible” with Rotimi has been buzzing on Singersroom since she dropped the music video.
“I feel like we’re all Hunters in our own right, whether we’re looking for glory or acceptance; love or revenge; or even just the simple things in life that put a smile on our faces-it is a quest for something that is in a way almost primal and innate to our individual characters,” said Baiyu.
