First Lady Michelle Obama’s Playlist & Workout Tips

We are all awaiting the summer months for the hot weather and awesome trips to tropical places with white sand beaches. But there is something that we must make sure we do before we embark on 2012’s coveted summer. We must shave those pounds and look good in those swimsuits. You either get right or get left during the summer months. Luckily we have some help for those intense workouts in the spring. Working It Out Tips

Be Consistent…Do a little bit every day and increase your workout as you go along.

Follow an Effective Exercise Routine…You need to do the following :

  • Strength Training which will tone your whole body.
  • Increased Cardio will help shave that fat. You should aim for at least 60 minutes of cardio a day. You can definitely turn on your radio and get your body moving and grooving.

**Interval Training simply means mixing up walking and running to get that blood flowing.

Set Realistic Goals…Don’t lie to yourself. Set goals that are attainable and be consistent.

Use a Buddy System…Two heads are better than one. That has always been true and it is definitely true when it comes to working out and motivating yourself everyday. If you have people working with you when you fall off someone will be there to motivate you and pick your lazy behind up.

Make Your Plan Fit Your Life…Everyone has different schedules. Make sure your workout routine works for your lifestyle. Working out before or after work may work for you if you are an independent executive. However, if you are a stay at home mom take time out your busy day to have some me time.

Be Happy…Enjoy your exercise experience. SMILE!

Make A Playlist / Get Inspired…Fitness is all about mind over matter (body). If your mind is inspired and fired up it will push your body to the limit. Get Your Mind Right! A playlist of your favorite songs is perfect for getting you pumped up and moving. The playlist we have provided is awesome but you can also use your Iphone, Ipad or other MP3 device to make a playlist that gets you into the zone.

Be Patient…do just that. Be patient! Results don’t come over night.
