The other night, VH1 paid tribute to the late Aaliyah and her legacy by airing a revamped and newer version of its 2001 "Behind The Music" episode. Looking back on the R&B star's life, the special featured new footage and commentary from her family and close fiends, including Missy Elliott and hip-hop writer, Nelson George. The hour-long episode also looks into how her music career would have grown and progressed if not for her untimely death.
