Veteran R&B group Boyz II Men is celebrating 20 years in music with the launch of their extensive North American tour, which also supports their latest album ‘Twenty.’
Kicking off tonight (Feb. 9) at New York’s Carnegie Hall, the 37-city trek will make stops at various casinos, theaters and arenas across the country before wrapping Aug. 10 in Ventura, CA.
The Philadelphia-based trio released their 10th studio album ÃTwenty,Ã last October (2011), which featured brand new material for the first time in 10 years. The 13-track set also featured nine re-recorded hits, including “Motownphilly,” “I’ll Make Love to You” and “End of the Road.”
Boyz II Men has sold over 60 million albums worldwide and winning every award from Grammys to American Music Awards across the globe. The group recently snagged a nomination for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration at the 43rd annual NAACP Image Awards. The ceremony will be broadcast live Feb. 17 on NBC.
