Kelly Rowland – Here I Am
Kelly Rowland’s third solo studio album, ‘Here I Am,’ features the No. 1 single “Motivation” featuring Lil Wayne along with contributions with music producers/songwriters Tricky Stewart, Dr. Luke, Stargate, Salaam Remi, Jim Jonsin, RedOne, Ester Dean and Rico Love, who is executive producing the project. “I said I wanted people to know that this is the record, the sound I’ve been working toward… that ‘Here I am,'” Rowland previously said about the album title. “It just connected with my heart and the music as well. It stands for everything I’ve gone through and thought about for this record as a woman. It’s very strong.”
Joss Stone – LP1
Joss Stone is following many artists by launching her own record label Stone’d Records, which released her fifth album ‘LP1.’ She considers ‘LP1′ as the first album she has recorded because she had total creative freedom. “This album captures a specific moment in time that was spontaneous and full of creativity,” says Stone. The album was recorded in only six days with the assistance of producer Dave Stewart. The musical tone of the album is a rock n’ soul musical odyssey.
