Oprah’s Soundtrack

Over the past 25 years, Oprah has had an endless list of A-listers and top artists as guests on her talk show. In honor of her show coming to an end this year, we took a look back at some of our favorite music artists she’s hosted and created an Oprah-friendly playlist.

Jay-Z – Hard Knock Life
Oprah is a huge fan of Jay-z and his rags-to-riches story, and even followed him to the housing projects where he grew up to do an interview with him.

Whitney Houston – I Didn’t Know My Own Strength
When the pop star appeared on Oprah’s talk show when she released her latest album, I Look to You, Oprah mentioned that this was her favorite track.

Beyonce – Irreplacable
Beyonce, who has appeared on Oprah’s couch a few times, would likely be a part of Oprah’s playlist as well.

Fantasia – Bittersweet
Oprah chose Fantasia to appear in her Broadway play, The Color Purple, which proves she’s a fan of the American Idol star.

Willow Smith – 21st Century Girl
Kid star Willow Smith is well-liked by Oprah and performed this hit on Oprah’s show.
