The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin and Grammy nominated recording artist Drake will join a number of Jazz, Pop, Gospel and Rock artists for the 2010 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Slated to run April 23-25 and April 29-May 2 in New Orleans, LA, the forthcoming festival will also feature performances from Lionel Richie, Darius Rucker, Anita Baker and BB King. “It’s just a way cool thing that Jazz Fest is so broad that it can embrace all these different things, all these different artists,” the festival’s producer, Quint Davis, said in a statement Monday. Marking its 41st year, tickets for the 2010 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival go on sale Tuesday, December 15. For more information visit nojazzfest.com
