After releasing his debut album and earning a BET Award nomination earlier this year you’d think Ryan Leslie would take a break — wrong. The singer/songwriter and producer is celebrating the release of a sophomore album titled “Transition” with a series of concerts and events this month. “Transition,” a true summer love story from the passionate multi-instrumentalist, features 11 songs that Leslie wrote and produced. The lead single, âI Choose You,â is a ballad that differs from his previous mid-tempo hits. Celebrating the album, which hit stores Tuesday, November 3, Leslie is due to appear at an exclusive Album Presentation at The Times Center on November 4th. He will also perform in Times Square at the Nokia Theater November 6th and take the stage, courtesy of MySpace, in Los Angeles November 11th. As previously reported, Leslie’s “Transition” follows the release of the summer/early fall hit “You’re Not My Girl”. The album also includes âSomething That I Likeâ featuring Pusha T of The Clipse and âTo The Topâ.
