Mya and Melissa Joan Hart vied for the top spot on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Monday. Ending up with twenty-eight a piece, the duo wrapped up a night of fresh dances with strong reviews. Mya, performing the lambada (watch below) with partner Dmitry Chaplin, ended up with two tens and one eight during Monday’s dancing round. As he had last week, ‘Dancing’ judge Len felt the duo was undeserving of a ten and thus gave an eight. Telling them “My expectations are really high and I felt in the lambada I was going to get a bit more,” Len opposed Bruno’s stance that the dance was an “erotic (and) exotic roller coaster”. Informed that she brought the “1920s flapper back to life,” Melissa Joan Hart and partner Mark Ballas also racked up 28 points. Performing the Charleston, Hart and Ballas earned praise from an enthusiastic Bruno Tolioni. Telling the duo “You have the role 110 percent,” Bruno gave one of two tens Monday night. In related news, “She Wolf” singer Shakira is expected to perform on Tuesday’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
