Songwriter/Producer and Universal recording star Ryan Leslie has joined the growing list of artists set to perform at the 15th Annual Essence Music Festival ! Leslie, who recently released a self titled debut featuring the single “Addiction,” joins previously announced performers including Beyonce, En Vogue, Eric Benet, Maxwell and John Legend. Celebrating it’s 15th Anniversary, the 2009 Essence Music Festival is slated to take place at New Orleans’ SuperDome July 3 -5. Lionel Richie, Melanie Fiona, Charlie Wilson and Little Freddie King have also been added to the line up.
