R. Kelly, R Kelly, Lawsuit, Sued
A concert promoter sued R. Kelly, claiming the R&B singer owes his company $75,000 in fees. Trevanna Entertainment filed legal papers in New York alleging the firm was hired by Kelly’s national tour promoter to be the “tour director” for the singer’s recent U.S. trek.
A gig promoter is seeking $120,000 in damages after Kelly allegedly put a court hearing before his concert commitments; and Ne-Yo’s management is suing Kelly’s promoter, Rowe Entertainment, for breach of contract for dropping him as the support act on Kelly’s Double Up tour.
More: Henry Vaughn also known as “Uncle Henry Love,” says he is responsible for Kelly’s success and sued him for compensation over a verbal contract.
