Whether it was a love bite or not, Tiffany Haddish conjured up a storm after a recent interview where she dished on the time she witnessed a popular actress take a bite out of Beyoncé. Although she didn’t name any names, Twitter began to speculate who the culprit could be.
According to TMZ, multiple sources have come forward confirming that the bite came from actress Sanaa Lathan.
Insiders claim that the bite wasn’t aggressive, and was more playful and non-invasive. But that didn’t stop Tiffany from blowing up and wanting to defend Bey. Tiffany went on record stating that she wanted to beat her up and even shared her sentiments with Beyonce herself. Nevertheless, according to Haddish, Bey stopped her in her tracks, insisting she let it go.

The incident went down at an after party for Jay-Z’s 4:44 concert held at The Forum in Los Angeles. Sanaa was reportedly being a little too friendly with Jay in which Bey caught wind of and walked over to de-escalate the situation. That’s where Sanaa’s “love bite” comes in as she bit her face.
Lathan took to Twitter to deny the allegations, “Y’all are funny,” she tweeted. “Under no circumstances did I bite Beyoncé and if I did it would’ve have been a love bite.”

This isn’t the first time Haddish has mentioned the incident. In a number of interviews, she’s laid out bits and pieces of the incident.
With many of us wanting to know who bit Beyoncé, Chrissy Teigen added more fuel to the speculation. “I cannot leave this planet without knowing who bit Beyoncé in the face,” Chrissy tweeted. “I can only think of one person who would do this. but I cannot say. but she….is the worst.”
Chrissy later jumped back on Twitter to let us know she found the answer but is reluctant to share.
“My initial guess was wrong,” she wrote. “The real person? I *never* would have guessed. I’VE SAID TOO MUCH. I AM NEVER TELLING I’m scared I’ve said too much KNOWLEDGE IS A CURSE!”

Tiffany’s story to defend the queen hasn’t been received all too well by the Bey Hive. Defending her hive membership she released a statement, “Y’all forgot I am in the hive too and just know this I will always speak my truth. That’s not going to stop,” she stated. “The Queen 🐝 kept me from doing something half of you Bees would have done no matter what. To me she is a Shero and a Great person I have learned so much from her in just a short amount of time. So no matter what she has a Unicorn🦄 that has her back.”
She later followed up with a dressing room interview hosted by fellow comedian Chris Spencer, who is also waiting on the tea.
