It will be two years in August since Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon announced they separated, and they’re still not legally divorced yet!
According to TMZ, Mariah has been trying to get Nick to sign the paperwork for over a year, but he won’t do it and won’t give an explanation why.
In December 2014, Nick and Mariah agreed to joint custody of their twins Morrocan and Monroe, and they also signed a property settlement agreement. Everything has been agreed to, and they former couple still get together one in a while to spend time with their kids. Nick has even publicly wished Mariah and her new billionaire fiance James Packer best wishes, so there seems to be no bad blood between the two. He’s even tattooed over the huge “Mariah” tattoo on his back.
However, reportedly, sources say Nick still loves Mariah and doesn’t want to officially let her go, and secretly doesn’t want her to marry Packer. The source also says Mariah is very frustrated wants out of the marriage now.
