Soon after Adrienne Bailon was seen frolicking on the beach with a mystery man, rumors swirled. Just who was this guy? It was quickly revealed the mystery man is Gospel recording artist Israel Houghton!
Photos show 32-year-old “The Real” talk show host Bailon and Houghton getting close at the Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa in Tulum, Mexico. One photo even show them making out in a pool, so there’s no denying they are more than friends!
However, that’s not where the scandal resides. Their relationship comes somewhat as a surprise because just one month ago, Houghton announced his divorce from his wife, Meleasa, of over 20 years because of his infidelity. Naturally, these photos sparked speculation that Bailon was Houghton’s “other woman.” But he took to Facebook to clear up the chatter.
He wrote:
The two met on the set of the movie “I’m in Love With a Church Girl” in 2013, in which he executive produced and she starred in. Bailon called off her engagement to her boyfriend of six years, Lenny Santiago, in September 2015.
Her daytime talk show “The Real” is currently on spring break, but we should hear plenty about this when the show resumes!
