Miley Cyrus Shades Beyonce in New Interview? (Updated)

Contrary to reports from several gossip websites, Miley Cyrus DID NOT diss Beyoncé in a recent interview. Taking to Twitter today (Jan. 2), the “We Can’t Stop” hitmaker calls the quotes “made up.”

She writes, “That quote people MADE UP about Beyoncé just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got ‘the looks and the curves I’m just better!’ Bahahahhaha.”

Also a bit upset, she adds: “How are people allowed to make up sh-t & then out quotes around it saying I said that sh-t!!?”

Love magazine also confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that “Miley Cyrus has not stated ANY of the quotes.”

Below is the previous story with the alleged quotes:

————————————————————

In a new interview for March 2014’s issue of Love Magazine, Miley Cyrus mentioned Beyonce as someone she will be able to replace, because, for lack of better terms, Bey is on the verge of being washed up.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer admits that Beyonce is an inspiration, but Bey’s longevity is actually a hindrance. “…she’s been out for such a long time. She’s so talented and I think she’s at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that’s what I bring to the game now, new blood,” Cyrus said. “I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best,” she continued.

She then goes on to say that motherhood is slowing Beyonce down, and she’s the chosen one to step in and take Bey’s place: “As Beyoncé grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now. I’m the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right, you know?”

Maybe Miley didn’t get the memo, but Yonce in on top of her game like never before, selling out arenas worldwide on her Mrs. Carter World Tour, and releasing a surprise album which is currently perched comfortably at the top of the charts, all while being a mother and showing no signs of slowing down.

What are your thoughts? (And the Beyhive comes for Miley in 3, 2,…)

You won’t believe what Miley Cyrus said in her latest interview! Fans are speculating that the controversial pop star threw some shade at Beyonce when talking about gender differences in the music industry. This has caused quite a stir among both fan bases, as Beyonce is known for being a feminist icon and advocate for women’s rights.

In the interview, Cyrus discussed how women in the industry often have to work harder than their male counterparts to get recognition and respect. She also touched on the double standards that exist when it comes to female sexuality, stating that men are praised for being sexually adventurous while women are shamed.

While these comments may seem innocuous enough, some fans have interpreted them as subtle digs at Beyonce, who has been vocal about these issues throughout her career. Stay tuned to find out more about this potential feud between two of music’s biggest stars!

Cyrus’ Comments on Gender Differences in the Music Industry

You might be surprised to hear that Miley Cyrus thinks there are still significant gender differences in the music industry, even in 2021.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Cyrus commented on how female artists are often compared to one another and pitted against each other in a way that male artists are not. She also spoke about how women have to work harder to prove themselves and gain respect in the industry.

Cyrus pointed out that while male artists can often coast by on their talent alone, female artists have to constantly reinvent themselves and push boundaries to stay relevant. She mentioned Beyoncé as an example of someone who has had to work twice as hard because of her gender and race.

However, some fans interpreted Cyrus’ comments as shading Beyoncé, which she denied on social media.

It’s clear that despite progress being made towards equality, there is still much work to be done within the music industry when it comes to gender disparities. It’s important for influential figures like Cyrus to speak out about these issues and bring attention to them so that change can continue to occur.

Fan Speculation and Interpretation of Cyrus’ Words

Imagine reading a recent interview and feeling like there might be some underlying tension between two popular female artists. That’s exactly what fans are speculating after Miley Cyrus made some comments about gender differences in the music industry.

Some fans believe that she was shading Beyoncé, who is known for her powerful and feminist-inspired performances. In the interview, Cyrus talked about how men in the music industry can get away with being more aggressive and assertive while women are often criticized for being too confident.

She also discussed how women are expected to look a certain way and act a certain way, whereas men have more freedom to express themselves. While she didn’t mention any specific names, some fans believe that she was indirectly calling out Beyoncé for her bold and provocative performances.

However, it’s important to note that this is all just speculation at this point. It’s possible that Cyrus wasn’t referring to Beyoncé at all and was simply speaking about gender inequalities in general. Nonetheless, it’s interesting to see how fans interpret and analyze every word that celebrities say.

Whether or not there is any truth to these rumors remains to be seen, but it definitely adds another layer of intrigue to the ongoing conversation about gender differences in the music industry.

Conclusion

So, there you have it! Based on fan speculation and interpretation of Cyrus’ words, it seems like she may have thrown a subtle shade at Beyonce in her recent interview.

While some fans are convinced that Cyrus was specifically calling out the Queen Bey for being too ‘controlled’ in her music and image, others argue that she was simply making a broader comment about gender differences in the industry as a whole.

Regardless of what Cyrus meant by her comments, one thing is clear: the debate over whether or not she was shading Beyonce is sure to continue among fans for quite some time.

Whether you’re firmly Team Miley or Team Beyonce (or somewhere in between), this latest controversy just goes to show how passionate music fans can be when it comes to their favorite artists.
