A few days after being accused of assaulting a woman in an L.A. nightclub, which the owner claims is false, Chris Brown finds himself entangled in another allegation. According to TMZ, the L.A. City Attorney has filed two criminal charges against the Grammy winner over a minor accident stemming from last month (May). Brown, who was driving his Range Rover at the time, rear-ended a Mercedes, and allegedly gave the other driver fake insurance details before leaving the scene.
Charges slapped against Brown by the L.A. City Attorney include hit-and-run (leaving the scene without exchanging proper information) and driving without a valid driver's license, both punishable by a maximum of six months in jail.
Contrary to the reports, Brown took to Twitter to slam the allegations as false, insisting it's just another person trying to get a pay day from "Chris Brown."
"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous…I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene," Brown wrote on Twitter.
He continued: "She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures."
