Hosted by Chris Tucker, The BET Awards is scheduled for Sunday, June 30, but this year, the network is shutting down the entire weekend for the BET Experience At L.A. Live for back to back concerts.
Beyonce will kick off the weekend on Friday June 28 for an already-sold out concert. Saturday June 29, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, J. Cole, and School Boy Q of the Hippie Collective will blaze the stage at the Staples Center. Sunday June 30, the day of the ceremony’s live airing, R. Kelly, New Edition, and the Jacksons will then take to the Staples Center stage.
