“Kickin’ and Screamin'” is the new single from American Idol Season 14 alum JAX off her upcoming debut EP, ‘Funny.’
The song, co-written and produced by Colin Louis Dieden and Ruffian, is an upbeat dance number that shows off the East Brunswick, New Jersey, native’s versatility.
“I loved being in the studio for this one,” she said. “We had just as much of a party as the song sounds. Colin Dieden is such an awesome friend and artist. It’s always a blast recording with him and the crew out in LA.”
The 20-year old singer–who was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease in April, and underwent surgery to remove her thyroid–will release Funny, her debut EP, independently on January 27, 2017.
