After a two year hiatus, Nigerian-German soul songstress Nneka will return to the states with a tour making stops from the east to the west coast.
The outspoken and political vocalist’s upcoming performances will showcase new material from her third album ‘Soul Is Heavy.’ She describes the new album as a – raw and honest window into her beliefs of love, pain, politics and God.
Using music as a platform to voice issues of capitalism, poverty and war, Nneka is a voice of the people. She is scheduled to drop her latest album on February 28th, 2012 via Yo Mama’s Recordings/Decon.
