Trey Songz, Nelly, J. Holiday, Tank, and Jackie Long are among celebrities who might just lace up for radio personality and BET host Big Tiggers 8th Annual Celebrity Classic. Slated for June 5 and 6, the event will not only bring in some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment but will also raise money and awareness to the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Washington D.C and throughout the states. “More people are living with HIV and AIDS today than ever before,” says Big Tigger. “It saddens me to know that in, United States, the most powerful country in the world, the HIV infection rates are as bad if not worse than in third world countries. We need to educate everyone about the HIV virus and get as many people tested as we can because most HIV infections are transmitted by people who don’t know their status.” Big Tigger’s classic will feature, amongst testing/prevention events, an all star basketball game.
