Breakout rapper Tee Grizzley surprises fans with a remix of his hit single, “First Day Out,” featuring incarcerated emcee Meek Mill.
Meek adds spice to the remake of the original, spitting, “Being broke did something to my soul / Had a ni**a locked down, 23 in the hole / Touched down, came home / Pouring Ace out with Hov.”
The “First Day Out (Remix)” comes just a day after the Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their monumental Super Bowl LII victory in their locker room by partying to Meek’s classic record, “Dreams & Nightmares.” Everyone from LeBron James to Gabrielle Union rejoiced in the support shown for the incarcerated Philly native with “#FreeMeek” tweets last night.
This isn’t the first time Tee, and Meek have collaborated on a record, last fall the two teamed up for Tee’s highly-anticipated “Beef” record.
