International superstar Wyclef Jean releases a new track called “The Ring,” an anthemic go-for-gold track that playfully name checks other artists, such as Tribe Called Quest, Big Pun, D.R.A.M., Fat Joe, DJ Khaled and more. Wyclef also dedicates the track to all athletes going for “another ring.”
“The Ring” stems from Clef’s project forthcoming album J’ouvert which features Young Thug, Walk The Moon and others, and the title refers to the official beginning of Carnival. The project is a precursor to Wyclef’s forthcoming full-length album aptly titled Carnival III: Road To Clefication dropping next summer on the 20th anniversary of Wyclef’s critically acclaimed debut The Carnival.
