Timbaland has been hyping up the rap side of his new Chicago-bred protege Tink (and slowly neglecting her R&B side) for over a year now. Last summer, she dropped the third installment of her mixtape series, Winter’s Diary 3, now she’s back with a new hip-hop jawn on “Circle the Block.”
On the hard-hitting track, the almost 21-year-old wants to continue to whip around the block to circle the competition with her flows. “No shade,” she reassures a few times on the track, as Timbo declares “We’re about to crush these ni**as and show these ni**as the new wave.”
Tink is currently working on her debut album Think Tink.
