Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige was one of the many veteran performers during Wednesday night’s special, Christmas at Rockefeller Center, which aired on NBC.
Rocking a skin-tight gown over her newly fit figure, Blige performed “The Christmas Song” from her new album, ‘A Mary Christmas’.
The 81st Annual Tree Lighting in New York City was watched by millions of people around the country. The Christmas tree is a 76-foot Norway Spruce that came from Shelton, Conn. It was decorated with 45,000 colored LED lights and a massive 9 1/2-foot-wide Swarovski star on the top. The tree will stay in Rockefeller Center until Jan. 7 then it will become lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
British songstress Leona Lewis also performed “White Christmas” and her new song, “One More Sleep,” during the festivities.
