Pro.Era chief Joey Bada$$ gets a soulful gem from the late J Dilla for “Two Lips,” a song that was created to serve a great cause.
The song coupled with the unreleased J Dilla track is available only on limited edition of 45 vinyls, put together by the late producer’s mother and Akomplice clothing as a charity fundraiser to help “buy instruments for underprivileged children in Detroit and Brooklyn.”
“I thank both parties for allowing me to be a part of it and allowing me to use unreleased beats by my favorite producer of all time,” states Joey. “It’s a brighter day.”
