Azealia Banks is blaming producer-artist Pharrell Williams for her single “ATM” flopping. The record debuted at a lackluster No. 169 on the U.K. charts
The UK rapper claims the “Get Lucky” hitmaker left her stranded and did want to be associated with the record after finding success with Daft Punk this summer (2013).
"The reason Atm jam did poorly is because pharrell changed his mind about wanting to be associated with me after he had his lite (sic) skin comeback… But f**k it what's new? Azealia banks having to scrape claw and fight for what she wants. This is normal for me now," Banks wrote on Twitter.
In September, Banks told fans she was removing the record from her forthcoming debut album, Broke with Expensive Taste.
Williams has yet to respond to the accusations made by Banks
