The beat hits hard and Ashanti’s voice just adds a little sweetness to this classic from her second album entitled Chapter II. This single reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 in the states and reached the top twenty in the UK. “Rain On Me” also focused on conflicting feelings about an abusive relationship.
