The Temptations – I Wish It Would Rain
This group hailing from Detroit wrote the blueprint for what R&B groups should move, look like and sound like. They were pioneers that were part of Barry Gordy’s army of extraordinary artists. As a part of Motown Records they were able to give America and the world countless hits during the 1960s and 1970s. Their music was the soundtrack for America at that time and helped to be the foundation for R&B today.
