After a delay to capture the true essence of his concept, J. Cole reveals the music video to his TLC-assisted single Crooked Smile," a record from his sophomore album, Born Sinner.
In the Sheldon Candis-directed short film, dedicated to Aiyana Stanley-Jones, a 7-year-old girl who was killed in her home during a police raid in 2010, Cole gives his own interpretation of the sad incident.
The clip ends with a message from J. Cole:
