Next - RL, T-Low, and Tweety got our attention with their sexy and sultry first single “Butta Love”. With the following hits, Wifey” and “Too Close” (which can still be heard on the radio), Next was a certified platinum group. Three albums later, the group dismantled and member RL focused on his solo career; releasing his debut album. RL began writing, producing, and collaborating with other artists. Next tried numerous times to reunite and get back on the R&B scene. They bounced from label to label, which included G-Unit and Music World (Matthew Knowles label). Through it all, Next has the potential to be R&B royalty. There is nothing wrong with holding out a little hope.
