Total
Before Diddy gave us Danity Kane, there was Total. With the class of SWV mixed with the edge of En Vogue, Kima, Keisha, and Pam were the new generation of R&B divas. Hailing from New Jersey, Total made their way to the charts with “Can’t You See”, which featured their label-mate Notorious BIG. After the release of Total, their debut album, singles like “No One Else” and “Kissing You” helped make the group certified platinum. While recording their follow up record, Total made moves collaborating with artists like Mase, LL Cool J, Foxy Brown and Missy Elliot; constantly on the radio and constantly in our ears. After their second release, the group began to slowly fizzle out of sight. Nothing was even officially said about the dismembering of Total, but the girls went about their own lives. Like Danity Kane, Total should come back and show the girls how the original Bad Girls did it. Â
