On Friday, August 9th, the house that Jeff Robinson built (MBK Studios) was rocking as several indie singers showed off their soulful sounds. Hosted and created by singer-songwriter Anthony Hall, who is signed to MBK/Universal, the intimate monthly showcase, dubbed "Live From Oz," boasted smooth, heartfelt, eargasmic performances from Mizan, Layla, Grace Weber, Janelle Kroll, and Hall himself.
This was one of those musical moments that you had to be present to feel the energy from all the performers as well as the trendy guests. "These singers came to sing," says Jeff Robinson as he gave his closing speech and invited any singers from the audience to get some shine.
