Mariah Carey was part of the promotional efforts for Lee Daniels' new film "The Butler" on Monday, August 5 in New York City. The R&B/Pop diva made a late entrance, rocking a fashionable arm sling that matched her Tom Ford dress. In the film, Carey stars as Hattie Pearl, a field slave.
In addition, Forest Whitaker plays the leading role, and the production cast also includes high profile names like Oprah Winfrey, Jane Fonda, John Cusack, Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr., Alan Rickman, Terrence Howard, among others.
The Butler arrives in Theater August 16.
