R&B has been viewed as a genre that has lost it's sexy and it's edge. However, on Thursday August 1st, true R&B fans felt how sexy and edgy R&B could be. Singersroom and Ron Faison presented "Live At The Aloft" at Brooklyn's chic Aloft Hotel featuring Ro James and Lydia Caesar. The colorful crowd was filled with industry tastemakers, trendsetters, fashionistas, musicians and fans.
The energy was just right as Lydia Caesar poured out her soul with songs such as "St. Louis", "Sail" by AWOLNATION and "Stay" by Rihanna.
When the smooth yet gritty Rock&B artist called Ro James took the stage, the crowd was already in the groove. Ro James took his faithful fans on a journey through his new EP COKE, by singing emotion drenched songs such as "ADIDAS" and "Pledge". As Ro did his thing, Luke James cheered him on and fans sang along.
