What would batman be without Robin? Yes for all the smart asses out there he would still be Batman. However, the point is sometimes teamwork and collaborations are a great way to make things happen. Drake started from the bottom now he’s here and he practically did it on his own. However he was able to find someone (The Weeknd) who helped his sound. He opened the doors for Toronto and we have been seeing an influx of great talent coming out from this city in Canada. When Drake started rocking with The Weeknd it made sense… there styles seem to mesh so well. It is not only that these cats are from Canada but the fact that these cats have been able to create a sound that is distinctively Toronto.

When you first heard Drake its hard not to recognize the vulnerability and faint pain in his lyrics and voice. His voice has emotion and soul. When he linked up with The Weeknd that emotion, soul and ability to set a specific mood was enhanced. They had a magical chemistry that helped to make a great sound. A song like Crew Love was a perfect example of their chemistry. This team gave us a new look of Hip Hop Soul.

It is no secret that Drake had a falling out. I guess you can't blame Drake for being a little disappointed when your lead artist of your label OVO gets his own deal after being co-signed by you. But I guess grown men have to do grown men things for grown men salaries. Drake seemed to feel like he needed to express himself about the issue in his 5AM in Toronto track. It seems that the Toronto Crew Love is over.

“I show love, never get the same out of niggas / Guess it’s funny how money can make change out of niggas / For real, some nobody started feeling himself / A couple somebodies started killing themself / A couple albums dropped those are still on the shelf / I bet them shits would have popped if I was willing to help.”

Now let's leave that “beef ” where it is and focus on who we can get for Drake. So here is a list of a couple artists that could be good for the OVO movement as The Weeknd readies to go on his 28-date tour called “The Fall”.
